You may be wondering why I decided to review the Satechi Aluminum USB hub. Prior to my purchase of this, I couldn’t find any good reviews, so I decided to make my own. This is a simple USB 2.0 hub with an Apple-esque design. It has a very nice design and matches my iMac perfectly.

After unboxing and setting up my new iMac, I already knew I would need a RAM upgrade. I do a heavy amount of video/photo editing and music production so I knew that 8GB of RAM wasn’t going to cut it. I decided to upgrade my new iMac’s RAM to 32GB and decided I’d film the process.
In my opinion, the new iMac design is the best one yet. Apple did a great job creating a sleek and powerful machine this time. I recently picked up one of these beautiful 27-inch iMacs and decided to share the special moment with everyone.
Yesterday, Apple quietly launched a new iMac. The iMac takes on a lower-end 21.5-inch design with a dual-core i3 processor. This iMac is $200 cheaper than the current bottom model iMac that’s available to the public.
Prior to now, Apple’s Fusion drive was only available for the high-end 21.5-inch iMac, 27-inch iMacs, and the top model Mac mini. Starting today, Apple is now offering the Fusion drive for built-to-order bottom model 21.5-inch iMacs.
I’m already pretty impressed by the Wi-Fi on my MacBook Pro. Sure, it’s nothing special, but I’ve found it to be extremely reliable when uploading or downloading. Partnered with my Time Machine, I’d say the MacBook Pro wins in the Wi-Fi department. Now, there’s a possibility it could get even better in the near future.
If you’ve preordered the new 27-inch iMac on launch day, then you may be excited to hear that Apple has already started preparing some of the first preorders for shipment.
In a recent interview with Rock Center and Bloomberg, Tim Cook not only hinted at an Apple HDTV, but also noted that Cupertino plans to bring some Mac production back to the United States and they’re putting up some major cash to help the process.
