Apple Releases iOS 6.1 To The Public

Apple has released iOS 6.1 to the public. This update includes bug fixes, Siri improvements, iTunes Match features, and adds LTE support for more carriers. The update is available to download now via iTunes or OTA update.

This update contains improvements and bug fixes, including:

– LTE support for more carriers (complete list of supported carriers at
– Purchase movie tickets through Fandango with Siri (USA only)
– iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud
– New button to reset the Advertising Identifier

Download the update now. And in case you were wondering, iOS 6.1 should be completely jailbreakable. Go to Settings > General > Software Update from your iOS device to download the update.

    for some reason, through OTA, i don’t get any update notification but only for 6.02 . When i try to restore with Itunes, i got an error after the download is completed (error 1403)… I tried on my macbook pro retina 13 and macbook pro mid 2010… not working… ugh Apple used to be better than that…
