Three New Regional Carriers Set To Get iPhone 4s May 18th

Apple has recently just locked down deals with three more regional U.S. carriers to offer Apple’s iPhone 4s to their mobile customers. California’s Golden State Cellular, Kansas’ Nex-Tech Wireless and Kentucky’s Bluegrass Cellular will all be offering the iPhone 4s to their customers starting on May 18th…

The iPhone 4s will be available starting at $149 for the 16 GB model, $249 for the 32 GB model, and $349 for the 64 GB model. All of those prices will be $50 cheaper than the cost of purchasing the iPhone 4s with one of the three major U.S. carriers. (Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T)

In addition, all three regional carriers will be offering the previous generation 8GB iPhone 4  to their customers for only $49. Customers can pre-order their iPhone 4 or 4S in all colors, models, and capacity starting today in store or at the their respective website’s.

“Nex-Tech Wireless is thrilled to bring iPhone to our customers. We pride ourselves in having seamless nationwide coverage, unbeatable customer service and now, the most sought-after mobile device,” said Johnie Johnson, president and CEO for Nex-Tech Wireless. “Our customers will love the multitude of new features of iPhone 4S and the value our plans and unlimited data offerings provide.”

“Bluegrass Cellular is pleased to offer iPhone 4S to our customers throughout the Bluegrass service area nationwide,” said Ron Smith, President and CEO, Bluegrass Cellular. “We will give iPhone customers unparalleled service as they experience this amazing device and its unique features and applications on our network, wherever they go.”

Apple’s expansion of the iPhone to smaller regional carriers began last October when they announced a deal with C Spire Wireless, which has approximately 900,000 customers.

Just last month a total of five more carriers announced that they had reached a deal with Apple to offer the iPhone 4 and 4s to their customers. nTelos, Cellcom, GCI, Appalachian Wireless, and Alaska Communications all began offering the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s to their customers on April 20th.
