After spending a few days with the iPad mini, I’ve fallen in love. The form factor is great, the price is right (in my opinion), and it works with every iPad app in the App Store. It doesn’t have a Retina display, but I don’t find that distracting at all. The display looks better than an iPad 2, and that’s okay with me. Apple has released iOS 6.0.1. The latest version of iOS addresses many known bugs that we’ve seen since the official iOS 6 release in September. It was previously reported that Apple was testing iOS 6.0.1 with carriers. The update is available now through iTunes or Software Update on your iOS device.
It’s that time again. Ready for another awesome iFixit teardown? This time they crack open the iPad mini to reveal all of its miniature sized component. The iPad mini was give a “repairability” scored of only 2 out of 10.
Apple’s new 2012 Mac mini is one powerful machine. In all honesty, I didn’t expect much performance out of these new minis, but to my surprise it was about as fast as my 15-inch MacBook Pro. Check out the video.
