[Rumor] iPad 3 To Have New Haptic Feedback Touchscreen Technology

According to Matthew Panzarino of The Next Web, Apple may have snuck an amazing new feature right under our noses for the media event for the iPad 3 which is going to kick off in about an hour and a half.

What is this incredible new feature?  Well ironically it has been sitting under everyone’s noses for sometime now, and is called Haptic Feedback TouchScreen Technology.  And guess where it was developed?  That’s right in Sunny Cupertino, CA.

Imagine pressing your finger to the screen of an iPad and being able to decipher the difference between ice and water, grass and dirt, a finished polished piece of wood and one that has come fresh from the lumber mill.

Now I know that Android is already running touch feedback technology  but the results are pretty uninspiring.  This new technology according to Panzarino could permanently change the way we expect to interact with touchscreen devices.

This new technology was developed by a company called Senseg and is apparently ready for showtime according to this video demo…
