The video below is on SlateShield for iPad 2. Check out the similarities and differences below.
Like I said in the video above, the SlateSHIELD for iPad 2 was a bit snug on the new iPad. The new design fits the third generation iPad perfectly. It also includes an improved cut-out for the new iPad to take full advantage of the incredible camera quality.
With the comfort handle you can smoothly rotate your iPad 360 degrees. SlateSHIELD also includes a built in stand that offers portrait or landscape viewing. The “iPad 3 Bundle” includes a great anti-glare WriteSHIELD screen protector, and a black capacitive stylus.
The SlateSHIELD does add a bit of bulk to the iPad but not much. Also the functionality the case offers more than makes up for the additional thickness added to your new iPad.It also has a smooth velvety/felt lining to protect and possible scratching from the inside of the case.
- Rotating Handle(360°)
- Soft, Comfortable, Adjustable Strap
- Integrated Stand (Landscape, Portrait & Typing Mode)
- Clean, Compact Design
- Tough & Durable (Reinforced ABS)
The SlateSHIELD isn’t for everyone, but those who can benefit from it, benefit greatly. The only thing SlateSHIELD misses the mark on is extra colors. Black is great, but personally I’d like to see other colors available. The “iPad 3 Bundle” is available for $69.99, while the SlateSHIELD case alone is priced at $54.95.
