If you’ve been looking for a high quality pair of headphones, I’d definitely take look at what California Headphones has going on. I caught up with this company back in January at CES 2013, and just recently, had a chance to check out their Laredo series headphones. For more info, watch my video review above.

I realize that I can’t give you a sound quality demo in a video, but in my opinion, these headphones sound great for casual listening. I would never do any actual mixing or pro audio work with them, but they certainly sound great with any genre if  you’re looking for a good set of cans to use for listening.

The build quality here is amazing. The headphone cups are made from a brushed aluminum/metal and also have a nice padded leather headband. Along with that, the cups have soft and thick padding. With all of these qualities combined, the Laredo series is very comfortable when listening for a long period of time.

Watch the video review above and let me know what you think. If you’re interested in picking up these headphones, you can find them for about $99 on Amazon or the company’s website.
