[Rumor] New iPhone May Have An HD FaceTime Camera

If there’s one thing I could complain about on an iPhone it would definitely be the crappy camera on the front. II understand it’s only VGA to save bandwidth for FaceTime, but come on! Fortunately this may be changing with the new iPhone

According to AppleInsider, Analyst Mingchi Kuo, with KGI says Apple will be making “quite a few essential adjustments” with the next generation iPhone. The analyst is referenced by AppleInsider as being a “trusted analyst insider,” and Kuo says Apple will be implementing an all new HD front camera.

Kuo says the bump in quality would compliment the larger screen better. And like we’ve seen and heard before, the front camera will be centered above the earpiece. He states the rear camera will receive an upgrade, but will remain at 8MP. The new back camera will be using a new thinner sensor from Sony giving the camera an  f/2.2 aperture.

We’ll known in October when the new iPhone is expected to launch. Honestly, all of these rumors seem on point with what we’ve seen so far, and they are also completely plausible.

What do you think about a better front camera?
