The iPod nano watch was recently killed off by Apple when the seventh generation iPod nano was introduced. Did Apple get rid of the iPod nano’s watch-like form factor in order to develop a watch of their own? While there’s no rumors or evidence pointing towards such a device, I’d love to see something exactly like this concept.
iPad News & Rumors
There seems to be a lot talk about Apple’s stock being down 20% since its high point back in September. This drop has investors worried about the future of Cupertino, and Nightline is stirring the pot. The ABC-based show recently ran a special on Apple’s sudden decline and what problems could be seen in the future.
Just as I thought the rumors would slow down for while, here we are again talking about iPad mini rumors. I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple released a Retina mini at some point, but apparently the displays are already in development.
We’ve been hearing the Office for iOS rumors for so long that the app was almost starting to sound as mythical as an Apple TV set. It would make sense for Microsoft to release their Office apps for iOS, but any rumors were always denied by the company. Now it looks like there may be some hope.
It’s no surprise that the iPad mini isn’t Retina, but many were shocked that Apple would release a “sub-par” display on a new device. Fact is, Apple doesn’t owe us Retina, it’s a luxury they have given us. Can we all stop complaining about the display now? If you don’t like it, don’t buy one. It’s that Simple.
It looks like Apple has caught up with the initial demand of the fourth generation iPad. After a massive launch weekend, the Apple Store online seems to have the iPad 4 readily available. All models now show as “In Stock.”
I guess you could say Friday’s iPad launch was a success. Apple has not given a breakdown of the sales numbers between the iPad mini and fourth generation iPad, but I’m sure the mini was a popular choice. In total, three million iPads were sold. Wow.
Before you start drooling over a new iPad, there’s not a lot different about Apple’s new fourth generation model. Sure it’s much faster, but it looks exactly the same as its predecessor.
