I was very upset when Apple discontinued the sixth generation iPod nano design. The design change shot down most other rumors regarding an Apple iWatch and left us with a standard mp3 player design. Don’t lose hope though, according to a new rumor, it looks like we may get an iWatch after all.
A big problem people had with the third generation iPad was its size. Apple somehow managed to release a product that was actually a bit thicker than the iPad 2. This was due to the Retina display integrated on the new old iPad. Pushing that many pixels requires a bigger battery and it made the device a tad bit thicker.
Many of us were shocked when Apple released the fourth generation iPad just months after its predecessor. Lately, we’ve been hearing whispers of an upcoming Retina iPad mini and another iPad to be released in mid-2013. Now there’s talk of a fifth generation iPad release early next year.
Apple has just released a brand new television ad for the holidays showcasing the iPad and iPad mini. The ad shows a young girl singing Bing Crosby’s “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” to her grandfather via FaceTime.

Yesterday, Australian police warned against the use of iOS 6 Maps due to some travelers being stranded after using Maps for guidance to a city. Maps led them astray and Apple has since repaired the error, but it wasn’t exactly Cupertino’s fault.
Several travelers recently became stranded in the Murray-Sunset National Park while trying to reach Mildura after using iOS 6 Maps for directions. Police in Victoria, Australia have since issued a warning advising people to stay away from the Maps app.
Apple has officially announced that the iPad mini, iPhone 5, and fourth generation iPad will launch in China next month. The confirmation came just after the iPhone 5 received certification in China.
