This is a video tutorial to teach everyone how to make beats using Reason on a mac. Reason is a popular program made by Propellerhead software for music production. Redrum is one of the main components in Reason for making beats and laying out drum parts. Visit www.macmixing.com for more informaiton and to ask questions in our forum. Thanks.
I'm from Phoenix, AZ, married to a wonderful wife, have a beautiful daughter, and three dogs. I would definitely consider myself (in the coolest, most hipster way possible) a nerd. That being said, I love technology, music, writing (obviously), and all things Apple.
I like to spend my free time hanging out with the family and watching corny reality shows. I currently write for macmixing.com, appadvice.com, and run the macmixing YouTube Channel.

Sequencing the different patterns out is something that most people don’t realize they can do. It’s so much easier than inputting each drum hit individually. As the video shows, just create a bunch of patterns, hit record and switch back and forth between them on the fly, then edit as needed.
