Demand For The iPhone 4s Continues To Grow 6 Months After It’s Launch

New data from a poll conducted by ChangeWave was released today showing that 56 percent of consumers that plan on buying a smartphone in the next 90 days are going to purchase the iPhone 4s. That’s a 2 percent increase from a previous poll conducted in December.

The poll also found that while Apple gained ground, it’s top rival, Samsung, stayed the same with 13 percent of consumers saying they plan on purchasing one of it’s smartphones. Motorola dropped 6 percent of the expected market share.

Surprisingly Research In Motion’s Blackberry grew by a point to 3 percent while HTC stayed the same at an idle 3 percent.

Demand for the iPhone 4s in March was the second highest market share tracked by Changewave since September of last year right before it’s initial launch on Oct. 14th.

The iPhone 4s has been Apple’s most successful iPhone to date, leading them to their largest quarter ever during the holiday season of 2011. Changewave’s earlier survey conducted in December also found that 96 percent of people who purchased the iPhone 4s were thoroughly satisfied with their purchase. The approval rate was a 3 percent jump from the 4s’s predecessor the iPhone 4.
