Crimson Cases – Aluminum Frame Case Review

I’d like to introduce all of your Apple fans to a great company you may not have heard of, Crimson.

This is a great company founded in 2010, and they are, as they put it, “at the intersection of design and function”.

Crimson is dedicated to designing and creating the best products for your Apple devices. One of the more recent products the company has released and showcased at Macworld/iWorld was their AFC, or Aluminum Frame Case.

However, the difference between their aluminum and the competition is that Crimson uses anodized metal. Also, Crimson has designed a great new AFC not seen before. As you know most aluminum bumper cases cover the sides of the iPhone, which could possibly inhibit the antenna reception. Well, this new design leaves those sides open so that the antenna is not affected.

The AFC from crimson for iPhone 4/4S is available in an assortment of colors and finishes including a 24K Gold Plate model.

Now one other thing I would like to mention is that these cases screw together onto your iPhone. You may think to yourself, well, that means I can’t change the case to something else quickly. Though, I would say honestly, that’s better than most cases on the market because it ensures a safe secure hold onto your iPhone. It will never snap of from, dare I say, dropping and knowing it is anodized metal, it will not bend easily, if ever.  Keep in mind that the case does weigh 19 grams, which may seem like a lot at first but honestly its real light for being metal and feels pretty good.

When you purchase your Crimson AFC you will have the following items included:

  • Aircraft-grade anodized aluminum frame case with stainless steel.
  • Allen head screws with engineering-grade acetyl resin corner guards
  • Two (2) spare stainless steel Allen head screws (just in case!)
  • Allen screwdriver for installation
  • Microfiber cleaning cloth
  • Installation instructions
  • AND AS A BONUS! Each AFC includes CRIMSON Film Surface Protectors (Anti-fingerprint)

These cases are not available in stores, yet! However, you can purchase them online at www.crimsoncase.com for a great price in comparison to other comparable cases.

The prices are as listed:

  • Anodized (Red, Black, Silver, Orange, Pink, Purple): $39.95
  • Polished (Gold): $39.95
  • Chrome: $59.95
  • 24K Gold Plate: $69.95

343923 208932Satisfying posting. It would appear that lots of the stages are depending upon the originality aspect. Its a funny thing about life if you refuse to accept anything but the very best, you extremely often get it. by W. Somerset Maugham.. 397053
